Meet Marshall

Growing up in Central Texas, I became passionate about music while listening to radio programs and the live music concerts of traveling opry shows that came to town. My first guitar was a birthday present at age 13. It wasn't long before I began writing my own songs, later leading to a traveling troubadour lifestyle that carried me across the country and back, performing at festivals, fairs, concerts and clubs. I was gifted with many new friends I met along the way. Settling in Northwest Arkansas, I entertain at public and private events and continue to write songs based on my dreams and a life full of experiences.

Adult Performances

Available for public or private events of any size.

My performances are a conglomerate of original songs and cover tunes that shadow my life experiences. Depending on the setting and audience, I am able to mix genres to satisfy a wide range of musical tastes, including classic country, folk songs, homespun blues, love songs, light rock from 50's to 70's, dance tunes, and a sprinkling of comedy and stories. There is always something for everyone!

Music For Kids

Available for public or private events of any size.

I have performed for over 60,000 children and it never gets old! My Cowboy Music For Kids shows are fun, interactive, and educational. I have a passion for empowering children to incorporate positive character traits (the cowboy code) into their daily lives. Each performance will entertain and educate, emphasizing friendship, self-esteem, and good character traits.

I was also part of a special project, Clean Water Raingers, for a local watershed organization, including the writing of watershed songs and stories and performing concerts at schools and events

Marshall Mitchell Bio

Marshall Mitchell is a professional entertainer that delivers a personal, polished yet passionate showcase of his original songs, stories, and select cover songs. A $13 Silvertone guitar and four Johnny Cash albums fueled Marshall's early musical career. He honed his performing skills with several years of touring around the country, both solo and with groups, and opening for headliners. Every Marshall Mitchell performance is tailored to engage and draw the audience into his music.

"His stage presence is proof positive that he is a seasoned performer,
a singer/songwriter, a guitar man, and he strives to make every show a
top-shelf performance."   ~ Ken Miner, Simple Pleasures Event Center

As a singer/songwriter, Marshall has recorded ten CD albums, three singles, and two music videos. He continues to write and produce original recordings in his studio and currently has a CD and a music video in production.

Marshall also engages a younger audience with his Cowboy Music for Kids show. With Marshall's songs and stories that emphasize friendship, self-esteem, and character traits, the show is a fun and educational experience for the kids.
